I am a U.S. citizen with a U.S. passport. I'll be going to London in 1 month. How and where do I get a visa?

I assume it's at the airport upon arrival, but I'm not sure. Could anyone help me? I'm just vacationing, but I'll also be going to Paris, Edinburgh, and the Republic of Ireland. My whole vacation will be 1 month long.

You do not need a visa.
You will get an immigration card on the plane to fill in and hand to immigration control with your passport on arrival.
Welcome and have a great holiday!

You don't need one for the UK (which in case you are wondering, includes Scotland!) or for France or for Ireland. Just fill out the form that the airline provides.
